MAY is the month of Mothers Day, graduations, Memorial Day and the unofficial beginning of summer.

This month the Municipal Art Society hosts Janes Walk, there's the 5 Boro Bike Ride, the Bronx Community College Run the Bronx 5K, the Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu Fair in Bronx Little Italy, Bronx Weeks, Mothers Day, the 152nd Street Cultural Festival hosted by the NYC Puerto Rican Parade and the City Island Memorial Day Parade & Festival. Also, NYC Beaches open for the season.

There's plenty to do in the parks, the farmers markets and street fairs are in full swing, and outdoor theater, concerts and films begin.

The Bronx is also the host of numerous concerts, theater and film events, as well as great food, parks and good public transit.
