* The Bronx Doc Film Center at 614 Courtlandt Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood of the Bronx is hosting a photo exhibit entitled Trump Revolution - Immigration, which runs from February 15 - March 29, 2020. * The photo at right shows a photo found in the bathroom at the Bronx Brewery in Port Morris. The bar and brewery has an interesting mix of history, art & culture hanging and painted on its walls. They also have a food truck out back that makes fresh to order empanadas.
* The Bronx Historical Society is located at 3309 Bainbridge Avenue at 208th Street in the Norwood neighborhood. Currently on exhibit is Mott Haven - An Historic District Turns 50 - thru 4/23/20. They also have an ongoing exhibit entitled History of the Bronx Latino. Latinos have been the largest and fastest growing demographic in the Bronx since the mid 20th century, but Latinos had also arrived in the Bronx in the 19th century [1800's] along with other early immigrant ethnic groups. They're open Saturday 10 am - 4 pm & Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm [$5 / $3 / www.bronxhistoricalsociety.org].

"featur[ing] documentation of works no-longer extant by legendary subway writers, including Dondi, Futura, Lady
Pink, Lee Quiñones, Zephyr, and including Bronx legends Blade, Crash, DAZE, Dez, Kel, Mare, SEEN, Skeme, and T-Kid. The exhibition
also includes significant and rare historical ephemera and photographs that register the birth of hip hop."

They come from various cultural backgrounds and they explore different themes from their own unique vantage point.
