We update parades and festival events as we approach the event date. This year Only Asterisked events have been updated to 2026. Pay attention to the dates / year.

The parades we feature not only include the majors but also the minors and the new ones as we become aware of them. We expect to add about 5 to 10 new parades or events to each month as the year progresses. As the year unfolds, you will be able to scroll down to see for yourself.

January Parades & Cultural Festivals in the Bronx NYC 2026

  • Friday, January 3, 2025 beginning at x pm [it was 4 pm in 2024] - Three Kings Day Cultural Celebration - at the James Monroe Community Center at 1776 Story Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. In 2025 they described the event as follows, " ... [The] event will feature culturally diverse memorabilia, handmade crafts, and other items all related to Puerto Rico from sweets and spices to apparel. Moreover, the first 20 guests to register will get to participate in our Paint and Praise portion of the event in which they will paint the iconic "three kings" on a canvas with guided instruction ...".   • * Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 3 to 7 pm, there's the Brady Court Pop Up market at 768 Brady Avenue at the corner of Antin Place and Holland Avenue, which is one version of a monthly event, wherein multiple vendors sell items like jewelry, collectibles, accessories, body care and other items like candles etc. along with hot food.  And they have both inside and outside capability - so it will naturally be inside in February making for an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon [see ads below].

 

 

March Parades & Cultural Festivals in the Bronx NYC 2026

  • * Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm, there's the Brady Court Flea market at 768 Brady Avenue at the corner of Antin Place and Holland Avenue, which is one version of a monthly event, wherein multiple vendors sell items like jewelry, collectibles, accessories, body care and other items like candles, thrifting finds, etc. along with hot food and desserts.  And they have both inside and outside capability [see ads with link below].
  • * Throggs Neck _ Sunday, March 15, 2026 - 28th Annual Throggs Neck St Patricks Day Parade in the Bronx. At 9 am there's a mass at St. Benedicts at 2969 Otis Avenue, followed by a complimentary 10 am breakfast in the Father Albert Hall. At 11 am assembly begins at Lafayette and East Tremont Avenue, from where the parade steps off at 12 noon. The parade marches south on East Tremont Avenue, through the Throgs Neck commercial district, ending about a mile and a half later at Harding Avenue and East Tremont Avenue, where a mobile stage is usually set up for parade speechs and entertainment. The parade lasts about an hour, but the festivities continue after the parade. The parade is organized by the Throggs Neck Benevolent Association [aka TNBA].   • * Eastchester _ Sunday, March 15, 2026 - 20th Annual Eastchester St. Patrick's Day parade. The parade kicks off at 3 pm at the Immaculate Conception School on Main Street in Eastchester north of the Bronx. It marches north onto Route 22 / White Plains Road and ends at the Lake Isle Country Club. St. Patrick's Day parades in Westchester County.   • * Yonkers / Bronx _ Saturday, March 21, 2026 - 68th Annual Yonkers St. Patrick's Parade. The parade begins at 1 pm and marches up what they call the Emerald Mile, which is along McLean Avenue aka 240th Street / Nereid Avenue. The parade begins at Bronx River Road / Webster Avenue and marches west to Coyne Park in Yonkers. The Parade is preceded by a mass at St. Barnabas at 11.15 am.   • * Concourse _ Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2 to 4 pm - No Kings Day Protests - see details on the front page in this weekends post in the Things to do in NYC for Manhattan primary location. In the Bronx it's from 2 to 4 pm at Lou Gehrig Plaza at 161st Street and the Grand Concourse.   • * NYC _ Wednesday, April 1 - Thursday, April 9, 2026 - Passover. The Jewish celebration their flight from slavery in Egypt thousands of years ago. Communal feasts, also known as Seders are generally held the first night.
  • * NYC _ Thursday, April 2, 3 & 5, 2026 - Christian Lent Ends, Holy Friday & Easter - celebrated respectively. Easter commemorates the Biblical stories of Christ's death on the cross and resurrection from the dead.
  • * Concourse _ Friday, April 3, 2026 beginning at 1.35 pm - Yankees Home Opener vs the Marlins - at Yankee Stadium at East 161st Street and River Avenue in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx.  For details and $96 on up tickets, see - https://www.mlb.com/yankees/

  • * Central Bronx Neighborhoods _ Friday - Sunday, May 1 - 17, 2026 - Bronx Weeks - returns with a parade, festival and other activities. In early April there was an announcement that it was going to be discontinued. Following the announcement, community leaders organized to ensure its continuation. Bronx Week opened today, with events on many days of the two week long event. The biggest events fall on the final weekend, 5/16 & 5/17 including a Ball, a parade and a fair.   • * Bronx & NYC _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 1, 2 & 3, 2026 at various locations & times but generally from 10 am to 5 pm - Janes Walk Weekend - at 200 locations in all five boroughs. Various art, culture, history, advocacy and architectural tours throughout all five boros of NYC. Free. They describe the event as follows, " ... MAS staff organize a fleet of volunteer walk leaders, to create 200+ FREE, in-person, virtual, and on-demand walks with over 10,000 participants ...   • * Bronx & NYC - Sunday, May 3, 2026 waves begin at 7.30, 8.30, 9.15, 9.50 and 10.30 am & officially over between 4 and 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Ride. Assembly begins along Broaday, south of Canal Street down to Battery Park in Manhattan, depending on the cyclist wave folks are in. The course is 40 miles long, and most of the 32,000 cyclists finish in under 5 hours. It ends at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, where there's a finishing party that runs from 10 am to 5.30 pm. The parade marches north stopping at Hawkins Park where there is a Memorial Stone for WWII Veterans, then marches on to the Pelham Cemetery, which is on the eastern end of the island between Tier and Ditmars Streets. After visiting the cemetery, they march to the southern foot of the bridge where there is a Veterans Memorial Triangle, before turning back around and ending at American Legion - Leonard Hawkins Post 156 at 550 City Island Avenue.   • *Longwood _ Friday & Saturday, May 29 & 30, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm & from 11 am to 7 pm respectively - South Bronx Cultural Festival - at Father Gigante Plaza, in front of St. Athanasius Church, at 878 Tiffany Street in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx [Rain / Indoor location is Casita Maria Auditorium at 928 Simpson Street in the Bronx]. The event includes music, dance, storytelling by a number of talented local Bronx performers. The event also includes food, arts and crafts. Free. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street at Arthur Avenue. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating the Feast of St. Anthony with a street fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. There is always a procession on Sunday afternoon, and the carrying of the Giglio, which this year [2026] begins at 2.30 pm following the high noon Sunday Mass. The event begins with pre-parade registration & activities usually beginning at 11 am [free]. The parade begins at 12 noon at The Point CDC at 940 Garrison Avenue and marches east to Hunts Point Riverside Park at 1409 Lafayette Avenue at Edgewater Road [just across the Bronx River from Soundview Park] where the festival begins, generally around 1 pm.
