This report provides a schedule of the parades held in the Bronx each year.

We update parades and festival events as we approach the event date. This year Only Asterisked events have been updated to 2026. Pay attention to the dates / year.

The parades we feature not only include the majors but also the minors and the new ones as we become aware of them. We expect to add about 5 to 10 new parades or events to each month as the year progresses. As the year unfolds, you will be able to scroll down to see for yourself.

• * Central Bronx Neighborhoods _ Friday - Sunday, May 1 - 17, 2026 - Bronx Weeks - returns with a parade, festival and other activities. In early April there was an announcement that it was going to be discontinued. Following the announcement, community leaders organized to ensure its continuation. Bronx Week opened today, with events on many days of the two week long event. The biggest events fall on the final weekend, 5/16 & 5/17 including a Ball, a parade and a fair. • * Bronx & NYC _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 1, 2 & 3, 2026 at various locations & times but generally from 10 am to 5 pm - Janes Walk Weekend - at 200 locations in all five boroughs. Various art, culture, history, advocacy and architectural tours throughout all five boros of NYC. Free. They describe the event as follows, " ... MAS staff organize a fleet of volunteer walk leaders, to create 200+ FREE, in-person, virtual, and on-demand walks with over 10,000 participants ... During Jane’s Walk NYC weekend, the simple act of exploring the city is enhanced with personal observations, local history, and civic engagement."... Organized by the Municipal Art Society. • * Pelham Parkway _ Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm - Community Fair - at Brady Court Community Center on 768 Brady Avenue [Antin Place & Holland Avenue] in the Pelham Parkway neighborhood. Flea market, artisan vendors, book signings, art & artists, tarot card readings, food, desserts and beverages. Free entry. • * University Heights _ Saturday, May 2, 2026 beginnning at 10 am - Run the Bronx - at Bronx Community College at 2155 University Avenue in University Heights in the Bronx. They offer a two mile Fitness Walk, as well as 5K and 10K runs. • * Belmont / Bronx Little Italy _ Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 12 noon to 6 pm - Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu Fair - at 610 Crescent Avenue at Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. A celebration of all things Albanian including food, music, dance and traditional garb. Street fairs in Bronx Little Italy NYC. • * Bronx & NYC - Sunday, May 3, 2026 waves begin at 7.30, 8.30, 9.15, 9.50 and 10.30 am & officially over between 4 and 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Ride. Assembly begins along Broaday, south of Canal Street down to Battery Park in Manhattan, depending on the cyclist wave folks are in. The course is 40 miles long, and most of the 32,000 cyclists finish in under 5 hours. It ends at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island, where there's a finishing party that runs from 10 am to 5.30 pm. • * Concourse _ Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 12 noon to 7 pm - 1st Bronx Night (food) Market of the Season - at 161st Street and Grand Concourse [NOTE - THEY ARE NORMALLY at 1 Fordham Plaza] in the Bronx. FYI - There are only two dates in 2026 at this location - also October 10, 2026 same times / location. Their presence at Fordham Plaza, after eight years, ended following the 2025 season. • * Parkchester _ Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 4 to 8 pm - BAFA Boishakhi Parade & Festival - begins at 2172 Starling Avenue and ends about 3 blocks later at the Parkchester Elementary School on Olmsted Avenue. A mela, which is a Hindu fair, will follow and at 6.15 pm cultural performances begin. Organized by the Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts.   • * Bedford Park _ Sunday, May 17, 2026 beginning at 10 pm - Bronx Week Parade. The parade begins at Mosholu Parkway South and Hull Avenue, traverses two long blocks inside Mosholu - Pelham Greenway, ending at Van Cortlandt Park East.
  • * Bedford Park _ Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 12 noon to 6 pm [time not explicitly confirmed on their site, but believe it's either accurate or approximate] - Bronx Weeks Food & Arts Fest - [in prior years it was in the southbound lanes] of Mosholu Parkway at Van Cortlandt Avenue East. This year they're telling us it's at Mosholu Parkway and Bainbridge. It will include food, music and entertainment.

The parade marches north stopping at Hawkins Park where there is a Memorial Stone for WWII Veterans, then marches on to the Pelham Cemetery, which is on the eastern end of the island between Tier and Ditmars Streets. After visiting the cemetery, they march to the southern foot of the bridge where there is a Veterans Memorial Triangle, before turning back around and ending at American Legion - Leonard Hawkins Post 156 at 550 City Island Avenue. • *Longwood _ Friday & Saturday, May 29 & 30, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm & from 11 am to 7 pm respectively - South Bronx Cultural Festival - at Father Gigante Plaza, in front of St. Athanasius Church, at 878 Tiffany Street in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx [Rain / Indoor location is Casita Maria Auditorium at 928 Simpson Street in the Bronx]. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street at Arthur Avenue. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating the Feast of St. Anthony with a street fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. • * South Bronx _ Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 12 noon to 4 pm - The 23rd Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Festival. The event begins with pre-parade registration & activities usually beginning at 10.30 am [free]. The parade begins at 12 noon at The Point CDC at 940 Garrison Avenue and marches south along Manida Street to Spotford. It turns east for one block before marching north along Coster Street which merges with Hunts Point Avenue. Proceeds along Hunts Point Avenue for two blocks before turning east on Seneca Avenue for two blocks before turning south onto Bryant Avenue for one block, before turning east along Lafayette Avenue for three blocks before terminating at Hunts Point Riverside Park at 1409 Lafayette Avenue at Edgewater Road [just across the Bronx River from Soundview Park] where the festival begins, generally around 1 pm. • * NYC All Boros Except SI _ Sunday June 21, 2025 - Make Music New York - returns for its 20th year. They are coming to numerous locations around the entire city, except Staten Island, at various times on the day of Summer Solstice in four of the five boroughs of NYC. The photo at right was taken in a prior year of one of the many 'Make Music NY Musicians' who bring a bit of joy to NYC on the day of Summer Solstice. While technically the solstice falls on the 20th again this year [beginning at 10.22 pm], it is being celebrated by Make Music NY on Sunday the 21st.

Based on prior years experience, people will start gathering around 5 pm, there's a concert by a band at 7 pm [unconfirmed but it's a tradition] and the fireworks show will begin around 9 pm. This fireworks display returned after a couple year hiatus during the pandemic [2020 - 2022 I think]. • Staten Island Ferry Schedule changed for July 4th. No service between 8 am to 1.30 pm and again no service from 8 pm to 10 pm. This is to accommodate the arrival of the fleet of tall ships into the NY Harbor in the morning and the Macy's fireworks in the NY Harbor / Hudson / East Rivers in the evening.
• Friday, July 3, 2026 from 1 to 3 pm - Tall Ships Cruise the East River. Class B Tall Ships from around the world are scheduled to sail down the East River from the Hell Gate Bridge [Queens / Manhattan] to Gravesend Bay in Brooklyn. Free. For details see - https://sail4th.org
• Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 7 am to 1 pm - Tall Ships Cruise into the NY Harbor. The Tall Ships will be viewable from the waterfronts / parks of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Governors Island, Liberty Park and Staten Island. Free. For details see - https://sail4th.org
• Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 10.15 am to 11.15 am - Blue Angels Flyover - along the Hudson River. About 120 - 150 aircraft will fly either up or down [or both ways] the Hudson at this time, as well as likely above the Tall Ships in the NY Harbor. We spoke to the Intrepid Museum, which is located at West 46th Street and the Hudson River, and they confirmed that the flyover would definitely be passing by them at the museum. • Saturday, July 4, 2026 beginning between 9.15 - 9.45 pm - Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. It's the 50th year of the fireworks show, which this year is being held in the NY Harbor / at the mouth of the Hudson River. • Sunday - Tuesday, July 5 - 7, 2026 from 12 noon to 6 pm - Tall Ships Tours at NYC Piers. Tour the tall ships docked at five different piers in three of NYC's boroughs. Free, but rsvp recommended. At Sullivan's Pier on Staten Island there will be four tall ships from Latin America and USA; in Brooklyn Bridge Park at Piers 1, 3 & 5 there will be tall ships from nations in Europe, India and the USA; in Manhattan at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan tall ships from the Netherlands and USA, and also in Manhattan at Piers 86 & 90 there will be tall ships from Europe, Latin America and the USA. • * Coop City _ Friday, July 3, 2026 beginning at 9 pm - Independence Day Fireworks at Coop City. It will be held at Little League Field in Co-op City in the Bronx. Based on prior years experience, people will start gathering around 5 pm, there's a concert by a band at 7 pm [unconfirmed but it's a tradition] and the fireworks show will begin around 9 pm. This fireworks display returned after a couple year hiatus during the pandemic [2020 - 2022 I think]. • * Grand Concourse _ Sunday, July 26, 2026 beginning at 12 noon - 37th Annual Bronx Dominican Parade aka Gran Parada Dominicana Del Bronx - Along the Grand Concourse from 167th to 176th Streets. The main performance stage is at 176th Street on the Grand Concourse where there will be speeches and performances from 11 am to 5 pm. The parade assembles floats at 7 am, first call line up at 9.30 / 10 am, full assembly by 11 am and kick off at 12 noon [it used to be later 1.40 pm]. The parade / festival ends by 5 pm. Yonkers Dominicans also march in the Manhattan parade.
