This report provides a schedule of the parades held in the Bronx each year. We update each parade / festival as we approach the event date. Pay attention to the dates and asterisked events have NOT been updated to 2023. Pay attention to the dates / year.
The parades include the Bronx St. Patrick's Day Parades in March, the Bronx Memorial Day Parade in May, the Puerto Rican Day Parade [Manhattan] and Hunts Point Fish Parades in June, the Bronx Dominican Parade in July, the Bronx Columbus Day Parade in October and the Bronx Veterans Day Parade in November. We have also included a number of the larger cultural festivals here as well.

March Parades & Cultural Festivals in the Bronx NYC
THROGGS NECK - Sunday, March 12, 2023 beginning at 12 noon, the Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at East Tremont Avenue and Lafayette, marches south on East Tremont to Harding Avenue where it turns west and ends at Harding and Brinsmade Avenues in Throgs Neck in the Bronx. Usually there's a St. Patrick's Day mass at St. Benedicts at 2969 Otis Avenue prior to the parade. For details see - www.tnsaintpatricksdayparade.blogspot.com. WESTCHESTER - Sunday, March 12, 2023 beginning at 3 pm, the Eastchester St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at the Immaculate Conception School on Main Street. It marches north on Route 22 - ICS to White Plains Road and ends at Lake Isle Country Club. Bronx parades in and around Westchester County.
YONKERS - Saturday, March 18, 2023 beginning at 1 pm, the 66th Annual Yonkers St. Patrick's parade in Yonkers near the Bronx kicks off on McLean Avenue beginning at Bronx River Road and ending at Coyne Park. Bronx parades in and around Yonkers.
April Parades & Cultural Festivals in the Bronx NYC
BRONX Easter Egg Hunts. Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 10 am - 2 pm, there's an Easter Egg Hunt in at the Bartow Pell Mansion at 895 Shore Road in Pelham Bay Park. The hunts are one hour long sessions, costing $10 per child, and adults accompanying children are free. For details and tickets see - https://www.bartowpellmansionmuseum.org.

* Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 3 - 9 pm - Cinco de Mayo Celebration - At Pier 132 [a bar] in the Port Morris neighborhood of the South Bronx. Cinco de Mayo celebrations in the Port Morris neighborhood of the South Bronx. FYI - This is a bar promotional event, which I posted only because I couldn't find any major general public events celebratiing Cinco de Mayo in the Bronx, which I found surprising.
* Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 11 am to 9 pm - Cinco de Mayo Celebration - At 2069 Bruckner Blvd in Unionport. There will be a half dozen or more musical groups - $20 admission. 646.406.6587.
Monday, May 8 - Sunday May 21, 2023 - Bronx Week - Multiple events at various locations in the Bronx. For details see - https://bronxboropres.nyc.gov/
* Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 11.30 am - 6 pm. Bronx Week Parade & Fair. The parade begins at 11.30 am at Fordham Plaza and marches 2 miles north [I believe along Webster Avenue], ending at the Bronx Week Fair on Mosholu Parkway & Bainbridge. The Bronx Week Fair begins at 12 noon [ends around 6 pm] along Mosholu Parkway between Bainbridge and Van Cortlandt Avenue East. It will include food, music and entertainment. Parades and street fairs in Fordham, st fairs in Norwood, street fairs near Bedford Park in the Bronx.
Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11 am - 6 pm. Official National Puerto Rican Day Parade Street Festival / Annual 152nd Street Cultural Festival - Along 152nd Street between [Prospect & Westchester Ave] Jackson & Tinton in the Longwood / Melrose neighborhoods of the Bronx. It's one of the largest Puerto Rican street festivals in NYC. The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is held a week later in Manhattan.
CITY ISLAND _ Monday, May 29, 2022 from 2 - 4 pm - City Island Memorial Day Parade & Festival - The parade begins along City Island Avenue, starting at Caroll Street. The parade marches north stopping at Hawkins Park where there is a Memorial Stone for WWII Veterans, then marches on to the Pelham Cemetery, which is on the eastern end of the island between Tier and Ditmars Streets. After visiting the cemetery, they march to the southern foot of the bridge where there is a Veterans Memorial Triangle, before turning back around and ending at American Legion - Leonard Hawkins Post 156 at 550 City Island Avenue. Friday, Saturday & Sunday, June 2, 3 & 4, 2023 from 2 - 7 pm Friday, from 12 noon - 7 pm Saturday & 12.30 pm - 6 pm Sunday - South Bronx Cultural Festival. A celebration of Bronx culture at Father Gigante Plaza in front of St. Athanasius Church at 878 Tiffany Street in the Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx. There will be music, dancing and theater done in collaboration with BAAD, the Bronx Arts Ensemble, Ori-Gen Collective and the Bronx Heritage Music Center. Free.
Saturday & Sunday, June 3 & 4, 2023 - City Island Art Fair - Along City Island Avenue near Hawkins Park and the Chamber of Commerce. City Island street fairs and festivals in the Bronx NYC.
WEST FARMS _ Fridays & Saturdays, June 2 & 3, 9 & 10, 16 & 17, 23 & 24, 2023 from 7.30 - 8.45 pm - The 20th Annual Bronx River Sounds Performing Arts Festival at at the Bronx River Art Center at 1087 East Tremont Avenue in the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx. Wednesday - Sunday, June 7 - 11, 2023 from 5 pm to 9 pm weekdays & from 12 noon - 7 pm on Saturday & Sunday - The Feast of St. Anthony. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street at Arthur Avenue. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating the Feast of St. Anthony with a street fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. Historically there had been a procession, which this year [2023] begins at 1.15 pm following the high noon Sunday Mass. For details see - https://www.bronxlittleitaly.com. SOUTH BRONX _ Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 11 am - 5 pm. The 20th Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Festival. The event begins with pre-parade registration & activities usually beginning at 11 am [free]. The parade begins at 12 noon at The Point CDC at 940 Garrison Avenue and marches down to Hunts Point Riverside Park at 1409 Lafayette Avenue at Edgewater Road [just across the Bronx River from Soundview Park] where the festival begins, generally around 1 pm. The festival includes games, music, food and raffles. Organized by the Point CDC. Bronx street fairs in Hunts Point. Fish parades in the Bronx NYC. For details see - https://www.thepoint.org

Wednesday June 21, 2023 - Make Music New York returns for its 17th year. They are coming to numerous locations around the entire city at various times on the day of Summer Solstice in all five boroughs of NYC. For details and for a schedule, see https://www.makemusicday.org/ny/listings. FREE.

July Parades & Cultural Festivals in the Bronx NYC
KINGSBRIDGE HEIGHTS _ Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 12 noon to 6 pm - the Carnaval de la Cultura Latina will be at 195th Street between Reservoir and Jerome Avenues. There will be live enteretainmnet on the main stage, as well as government officials, a soccer demonstration by the NYC Football Club, as well as food and shopping stands and a number of booths operated by local businesses and city and state agencies. Street fairs in the Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood of the Bronx.
CROTONA PARK _ Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 11 am to 7 pm - Bronx 12th Annual LGBTQ Pride Festival & Health Fair - At the Crotona Park Amphitheatre in Crotona Park at 1700 Crotona Avenue at 559 Claremont Parkway. Live entertainment and LGBTQ related health & other booths. Street fairs near Mt Eden in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Central Bronx & Montefiore one of organizers. FREE.

- On Sunday, July 16, 2023 there's an Italian celebration of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Day with a hoisting of the Giglio in Bronx Little Italy. See Bronx parades and large cultural events for details.
- Sunday, July 18, 2021 [guessing the time] from 12 noon - 8 pm - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast Day - A block party on Belmont Avenue at East 187th Street in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The affair will include food, entertainment and games.
GRAND CONCOURSE _ Sunday, July 30, 2023 beginning at 11 am the Bronx Dominican Parade at the Grand Concourse from 76th to 167th / 168th Streets. The main performance stage is at 176th Street on the Grand Concourse where there will be speeches and performances from 11 am to 5 pm. The parade starts at 1.40 pm and it all ends by 5 pm. 2023 _ LIKELY PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED _ DID NOT RETURN IN 2020, 2021, 2022 _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 26 - 28, 2019 - Panorama Music Festival on Randall's Island - There's a series of modern music concerts entitled Panorama Music Festival running all weekend long on Randall's Island. There are three stages which will feature literally dozens of highly regarded bands and musical artists over the weekend. Generally the times run from about noon until about 10 pm [music - $125 rsvp www.panorama.nyc].
2023 LIKELY PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED _ * THIS WAS CANCELLED IN 2021 & DID NOT RETURN IN 2022 _ N&WB _ Saturday & Sunday, June 8 & 9, 2019 from 12 noon - 6 pm. Riverdale Riverfest - At College of Mt Saint Vincent at 6301 Riverdale Avenue in Riverdale. This is a Hudson waterfront Hudson River festival that includes live music, re-enactment of a medieval battle and boat rides on a schooner and whaler. Street fairs in the Riverdale neighborhood of the North & West Bronx. Organized by the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt [KRVC] Development Corp.x

Sets and performances by: DJ Kid Capri, Grandmaster Cas, Talib Kweli, Chuck D, KRS-One in the Morris Heights neighborhood of the Bronx. Organized by. - Parkchester _ Thursday, August 17 - Sunday, August 27, 2023, Weekdays opens at 6 pm and Weekends [Fri / Sat / Sun] opens at 6 pm - all nights closing around 10 pm - St Helena Summer Fair [formerly Parish Carnival]. Note that times may vary on the weekend. It's an old fashioned carnival with rides, games, entertainment, shopping, food, beverages [no alcohol], contests and prizes. At the Church of St. Helena in the Parking Lot at 1315 Olmsted in Parchester, near Castle Hill in the Bronx. You can enter at 559 Claremont Parkway or 901 Claremont Parkway or Charlotte Street and Crotona Park East. It's between the Claremont and Tremont neighborhoods in the Bronx. There are new musical performances about every half hour. Free.

It's an Italian harvest celebration & celebrating 100 years of Arthur Avenue in the Belmont section of the Bronx. Bronx St Fairs in the Belmont neighborhood.x
- Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 10 am to 6 pm - Central American Independence Parade Followed by a Festival in Crotona Park. The parade begins at 12 noon at East Tremont Avenue & Southern Blvd, which is the site of the Happy Land Fire Memorial where in 1990 about 100 people - mostly Honduran Garifuna - lost their lives celebrating carnival. This parade and festival celebrate Central American cultures including the Honduran Garifuna via stage performances, culture, food, drink, arts and crafts for the whole family. The parade marches down either Souihern Blvd and / or Boston Road, turns west onto Charlotte Street to Crotona Park East - ending between Crotona Avenue and Claremont Parkway in Crotona Park.
