The Bronx street fair dates that have been updated with 2022 designations reflect the current 2022 St Fair events.

ONLY ASTERISKED street fairs of 2022 have been UPDATED. The street fairs with 2018 / 2019 / 2021 years / dates reflect the information regarding that fair in a prior year.

UNCONFIRMEDS. The 'UNCONFIRMEDS' represent street fairs held in a prior year, which we believe are returning, but which we have not yet confirmed details for 2022.

MARCH 2022 - East Bronx Street Fairs NYC

  • * THROGGS NECK - Sunday, March 13, 2022 the Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at 12 noon at East Tremont Avenue and Lafayette, marches south on East Tremont to Harding Avenue where it turns west and ends at Harding and Brinsmade Avenues in Throgs Neck in the Bronx. There's a St. Patrick's Day mass at St. Benedicts at 2969 Otis Avenue, followed [at around 10 am] by a free brunch compliments of Schuyler Funeral Home in the St. Benedict's basement around 11 am. www.tnsaintpatricksdayparade.blogspot.com. St Pat's Day parades & celebrations in the Bronx.
  • * WESTCHESTER - Sunday, March 13, 2022 the Eastchester St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at 3 pm at the Immaculate Conception School on Main Street. It marches north on Route 22 - ICS to White Plains Road and ends at Lake Isle Country Club. Street fairs in and around Westchester County.
  • * YONKERS - Saturday, March 19, 2022 the 65th Annual Yonkers St. Patrick's parade in Yonkers near the Bronx kicks off at 1 pm on McLean Avenue beginning at Bronx River Road and ending at Coyne Park. Street fairs in and around Yonkers.

  • * April / May / June / July / Aug / Sept / October 2022 EVERY weekend from 6pm - 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1 pm - 9 pm on Sundays - Piazza di Belmont - Outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue which will be closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue during the above mentioned times. Ends Oct 31, 2022.
  • * Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 7.30 am - 12 noon [officially it goes until 5 pm but it rolls through city & the Bronx is early on] - 5 Boro Bike Ride. NOT a street fair, but a city-wide cycling event.
  • * Saturday & Sunday, May 6 - 8, 2022 - Janes Walk - Various art, culture, history and architectural tours throughout all five boros of NYC. Organized by the Municipal Art Society. See https://www.mas.org/events/ for details.
  • * Friday, May 5 - Sunday May 15, 2022 - Bronx Week - Multiple events at various locations in the Bronx. Details coming, but in the meantime see their website at www.bronxboropres.nyc.

  • * Sunday May 15, 2022 from 12 noon - 6 pm - Street Co-Naming Ceremony & Fair - In honor of Gjergi Kastrioti Skenderbeu. At the corner of Crescent and Arthur Avenues in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The event include Albanian culture, food, entertainment and games. By the Albanian American Open Hand Assn.
  • * BELMONT - May 2022 EVERY weekend from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1pm to 9pm on Sundays - Piazza di Belmont - Outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue which will be closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue during the above mentioned times.
  • * Saturday, May 28, 2022 - Orchard Beach Opens for the Summer.
  • * Saturday, May 28, 2022 - from 1 - 7 pm - Bronx Night Market - in Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food market versus a street fair in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11 am - 6 pm. Official National Puerto Rican Day Parade Street Festival / Annual 152nd Street Cultural Festival - Along 152nd Street between Jackson & Tinton in the Longwood / Melrose neighborhoods of the Bronx. It's one of the largest Puerto Rican street festivals in NYC. The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is held a week later in Manhattan.
  • * UNCONFIRMED _ Monday, May 30, 2022 from 2 - 4 pm - City Island Memorial Day Parade & Festival - Along City Island Avenue between Winter and Cross Streets. The men meet at 550 City Island Avenue at the Leonard Hawkins Post 156. Parades and street fairs festivals in the City Island neighborhood of the East Bronx. I couldn't find any official notice of the parade this year [2022].

 

 

June 2022 - Bronx Street Fairs NYC

  • * June 4 & 5, 2022 - City Island Art Fair - Along City Island Avenue by the Chamber of Commerce.
  • * Wednesday - Sunday, June 8 - 12, 2022 from 6 pm to 11 pm - The Feast of St. Anthony. Times are Wed, Thurs and Friday from 5 - 9 pm / Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon - 7 pm. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating this Belmont neighborhood st fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. Historically there had been a procession on Sunday beginning at 5 pm, but this year [2022] I don't see any notice of that.x
  • * SB _ Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11 am - 4 pm. Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Festival. Begins at Hunts Point Riverside Park [just across the Bronx River from Soundview Park] at Lafayette Avenue and Edgewater Road with pre-parade registration & activities beginning at 11 am [free]. It's possible most or all of the activities will remain centered around Hunts Point Riverside Park.
    • *** The previous info above has been CONFIRMED. WHAT FOLLOWS IS HISTORICAL PRECEDENT. In the past, the Fish Parade marches through Hunts Point beginning at 12 noon and ends at Barretto Point Park at Tiffany and Viele Avenue around 1 pm where games, music, food and raffles are available throughout the festival which ends at 4 pm. Bronx street fairs in Hunts Point. Organized by the Point CDC.x

  • * WEST FARMS _ Friday, June 17, 2022 & Saturday June 25, 2022 from 7 - 8.15 pm and on Saturday, June 18th from 1 - 8.15 pm - The 19th Annual Bronx River Sounds Performing Arts Festival at at the Bronx River Art Center at 1087 East Tremont in the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx.   • * FORDHAM _ Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1 - 8 pm - Bronx Night Market - in Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food market versus a street fair in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * THIS WAS CANCELLED IN 2021 & DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING THIS YEAR 2022 _ N&WB _ Saturday & Sunday, June 8 & 9, 2019 from 12 noon - 6 pm. Riverdale Riverfest - At College of Mt Saint Vincent at 6301 Riverdale Avenue in Riverdale. This is a Hudson waterfront Hudson River festival that includes live music, re-enactment of a medieval battle and boat rides on a schooner and whaler. Street fairs in the Riverdale neighborhood of the North & West Bronx. Organized by the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt [KRVC] Development Corp.x
  • * DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING THIS YEAR 2022 _ NOTE OLD DATES _ EB _ Wednesday - Sunday, June 12 - 16, 2019 - St. Helenas Parish Carnival beginning at 1 pm - At St. Helenas Church at 1315 Olmsted Avenue at Westchester Avenue. In 2017 they had a parade that marched down to Owen Dolan Park at 2551 Westchester Square where they held the fair from 2 pm to 6 pm. This year the carnival will be held in the parish parking lot. There will be games, contests, prizes and entertainment. Street fairs in Westchester Square neighborhood of the Bronx.

  • * BELMONT _ DISCONTINUED 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 _ CB Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 11 am - 4 pm. 3rd Annual Little Italy Car Show - Along Arthur Avenue between Crescent and 186th Street. Street fairs in the Belmont neighborhood of the Central Bronx organized by the Belmont Business Improvement District.
  • * FOXHURST / HUNTS POINT _ DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURING IN 2022 IN THE BRONX _ OLD _ NOTE DATE / YEAR _ Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 12 noon - 6 pm / Free - Carnaval de la Cultura Latina - Along Southern Blvd between 163rd St and Westchester Avenue in the Fox Hurst & near the Hunts Point neighborhoods in the Bronx. This event includes live music and dance entertainment, food and shopping. Free - Bronx 11th Annual LGBTQ Pride Festival & Health Fair - At the Crotona Park Amphitheatre in Crotona Park at 1700 Crotona Avenue at 559 Claremont Parkway. Live entertainment and booths. Street fairs near Mt Eden in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Central Bronx & Montefiore one of organizers.x FREE.
  • * MELROSE _ Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 11 am - 6 pm - There's a Bronx Doc Film Latin American Foto Festival & Block Party at 614 Courtlandt Avenue at 151st Street in the Melrose neighborhood of the Bronx. There will be food, entertainment, arts, crafts, games and fotos. Rsvps are encouraged at www.bronxdoc.org.
  • * RIVERDALE _ Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 10 am - 2 pm - There's a Riverdale Pride event. They describe it as "Music, Art, Food, Drag". At the Riverdale Neighborhood House at 5521 Mosholu Avenue in Riverdale in the Bronx.
  • * BELMONT _ Sunday, July 17, 2022 beginning at 5 pm Trilingual Mass [English, Italian and Spanish], 6 pm OLMC Procession and at 7 pm Community Gathering - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast Day - A block celebration of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Belmont Avenue at East 187th Street in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. In the past the community gathering included food, entertainment and games - but not sure in 2022 what's included.
  • * Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 4 - 10 pm the Mott Haven Film Festival will be underway at Kreate Hub at 15 Canal Place in the Mott Haven neighborhood in the Bronx.   • * CONCOURSE / EAST TREMONT _ Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 11 am - 4 pm. Bronx Dominican Parade - I believe the parade assembles at 11 am and kicks off at 12 noon along Grand Concourse from East Tremont Avenue marching south to East 167th Street. There's a festival / street fair that generally follows the parade and lasts well into the evening. Street fairs in the Bronx neighborhood of Concourse.

This Bronx street fair is also the place where folks will go following the Dominican Independence Parade on Sunday, July 29. Bronx street fairs in Claremont Village.
  • * NOT RETURNING IN 2022, 2021, 2020 _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 26 - 28, 2019 - Panorama Music Festival on Randall's Island - There's a series of modern music concerts entitled Panorama Music Festival running all weekend long on Randall's Island. There are three stages which will feature literally dozens of highly regarded bands and musical artists over the weekend. Generally the times run from about noon until about 10 pm [music - $125 rsvp www.panorama.nyc].

The event is organized by WHEDCO which is the Women's Housing & Economic Development Corporation and this is unconfirmed but I believe it's free.

  • * CLAREMONT / TREMONT _ Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 11 am - 5.30 pm - Old Timers Music Festival - This festival has apparently been running for over 50 years. They describe the event as follows, "... For decades the first Sunday of August people gather in Crotona Park in The Bronx to cookout, spend time with family and to catch up with old friends. This annual tradition brings thousands of people out to have a good time listening to music, dancing, eating, playing cards ... this year Forest Playground Neighborhood Association (F.P.N.A.) and CTS Productions is teaming up to bring some of the hottest local entertainers ... at the Crotona Park Amphitheatre located at 559 Claremont Pkwy, Bronx, NY 10457..." Crotona Park is located just south of the Cross Bronx Expressway [east 174th Street], east of Fulton Avenue, north of Crotona Park South and west of Crotona Park East in the Crotona Park neighborood in the center of the Bronx. The concert(s) take place at the Crotona Park Amphitheater / Bandshell which is accessible via 172nd Street from the west and Charlotte Street in the east. There are new musical performances about every half hour. Free.

  • * Parkchester _ Thursday, August 11 - Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 6 pm - 10 pm - St Helena Summer Fair. Note that times may vary on the weekend. It's an old fashioned carnival with rides, games, entertainment, shopping, food and beverages.   • * Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 1 - 4 pm - Family Day - This is described not as a street fair, but arts and crafts workshop, " ... a day of art making, music and celebration as well as the debut of Abigail DeVille's oral history space capsule project, where a sculpture taking the form of a space capsule outfitted with sound recording equipment will be used to collect and share personal stories and alternative narratives of the Bronx ...   • * City Island _ Saturday & Sunday, September 11 & 12, 2021 from 11 am - 7 pm - City Island Arts & Crafts Fair - Along City Island Avenue between Fordham and Carroll Streets. Hawkins Street Park is the epicenter. Street fairs festivals in the City Island neighborhood of the East Bronx.
  • * Belmont / Bronx Little Italy _ Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 12 noon - 6 pm. Ferragosto Festival. Along Arthur Avenue between Crescent and 187th Street, and along East 186th Street between Arthur & Hughes Avenues. It's an Italian harvest celebration & celebrating 100 years of Arthur Avenue in the Belmont section of the Bronx. Bronx St Fairs in the Belmont neighborhood.x
  • * Morrisania _ Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 12.30 - 5 pm. Bronx is Rising Discussion of the film Fort Apache the Bronx - Discussion begins at 12.30 pm and from 3.30 - 5 pm there's a meal. At Bronx Music Hall Plaza at 438 East 163rd Street [at Washington], which will be the new home for Bronx Music Heritage Center in Morrisania just north of Melrose. Rsvps not required. Not a Bronx St Fair, but a community event in the Morrisania neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * Concourse _ Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm - Boogie on the Blvd - Along the Grand Concourse from 165th - 166th Streets. Music, arts & crafts and possibly some shopping. It appears to be a scaled back version of prior similar events. Bronx street fairs organized by the Bronx Museum in front of the museum.x
  • * Belmont - Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays in September of 2022 from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1pm to 9pm on Sundays - Piazza di Belmont - Outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue which will be closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue during the above mentioned times.
  • * Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 1 to 8 pm - Bronx Night Market in Fordham Plaza just south of the train station. A diversified food fest.
  • * Longwood _ Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 12 noon - 3 pm - Bronx River Alliance Community Paddle - Enter Concrete Park at the Westchester Avenue Park entrance in Longwood. This is a three hour opportunity for adults and kids to try their hand at paddling a small boat on the Bronx River. Free. Not a street fair, but rather community activities - just north of Hunts Point and just west of Soundview.
  • * Pelham Bay Park _ Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 12 noon - 4 pm. Bronx Native American Festival - In Pelham Bay Park in the south picnic area. Master of Ceremonies Bobby Gonzales [Taino], The Silvercloud Singers and Thunderbird American Dancers [both of latter groups are inter-tribal]. Food, music, dance and storytelling.   • * Rescheduled to October 8 _ * Randall's Island _ Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12 noon - 3 pm - Randall's Island Park Alliance Festival - This festival includes pumpkin decorating, glitter tattoos, face painting and scarecrows. Farm exploration & harvest sampling, cider & doughnuts, and a pop-up shop with Boogie Down Books. Also live music by Pete Nater & Associates. In the Urban Farm near Fields 62 - 63 in Randall's Island, just north of Ward's Meadow on the southeast tip of the island. Cider, cookies, doughnuts, dance class, pumpkin decorating, Latin dance class and live music. The Randall's Island Park Alliance is hosting a harvest celebration. Free.
  • * Fordham Manor _ Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10 am - 6 pm - Fordham Road Fest. Along Fordham Road between Grand Concourse and Valentine Avenue. Street fairs in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 10 am - 6 pm - Castle Hill Bronx Fall Fair - Along Castle Hill Avenue from Sterling to Westchester Avenue. Street fairs and festivals in the Castle Hill neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * Randalls Island _ Sunday and Monday, October 9 & 10, 2022 - The Indigenous People's celebration at Icahn Stadium on Randalls Island. Details coming.
  • * Morris Park _ Sunday, October 9, 2022 beginning at 12 noon - The 45th Annual Bronx Columbus Day Parade. The parade kicks off at Barnes Avenue [near White Plains Rd] and Morris Park Ave, then turns left on Williamsbridge Rd, and eventually ends at Lydig Avenue [one block shy of the Pelham Parkway] in the Morris Park neighborhood of the Bronx.
    • SEE ABOVE FOR 2022 _ Sunday, October 10, 2021 - Columbus Day Parade - Assembly begins at 11 am & marching begins at 12 noon. Since 1977 - 42nd Annual Bronx Columbus Day Parade - Along Morris Park Avenue beginning at Wallace Avenue marching down to Williamsbridge Road and Lydig Avenue.   • * Norwood _ Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11 am - 5 pm. Jerome Avenue / Gun Hill Fall Festival in the Bronx. Along Jerome Avenue from East Mosholu Parkway to East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx. This street fair in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx will have food, shopping, arts & crafts, music, games, pumpkins and pet adoption.
  • * Longwood / Foxhurst _ Saturday, October 22, 2022 beginning at 12 noon the 37th Annual South Bronx Halloween Parade & Party in Longwood / Foxhurst Neighborhoods of Bronx begins. The parade is organized by Community Board 2 and begins at Westchester & Southern Blvd, marching south along Southern Blvd, turning right on Intervale and ending at Dawson at the Bill Rainey Park in the Foxhurst / Longwood neighborhood of the Bronx. The parade and after event includes candy giveaways, entertainment and costume prizes. It's still all free and all are welcome.

 

 

 

Bronx Street Fairs NYC in November 2022

  • * Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 2 am - Daylight Savings Time. This may be the last year where we will 'fall back' by moving our clocks back one hour starting at 2 am Sunday or before going to bed Saturday night.
  • * Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 8 am - 5 pm - The NYC Marathon runners begin congregating at Fort Wadsworth at the foot of the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge on Staten Island beginning at 7 am. The Professional Wheelchairs take off at 8 am, the Handcyclists at 8.22 am, the Professional Women at 8.40 am, and the Professional Men at 9.05 am, with the last wave at 11.40 am. Staten Island is the starting poinit, while Brooklyn is the first leg, the Queens segment of the course is around the midpoint before heading into Manhattan, then north to the Bronx over the Willis Avenue Bridge, where they do a U turn by heading west over the Madison Avenue Bridge before turning south into Manhattan and Central Park. Use the link to the front page below to view a map of the Marathon course for 2022.
    • So you can do some math to figure out when to greet them in your borough. The fastest men complete the race in a bit more than two hours, while the average is 4.40 [hours.minutes]. The midpoint is in Queens. The biggest wave of runners travel through Queens around 11 am, so you can figure out the rest. The weather is expected to be pleasant. Enjoy.
  • * Van Cortlandt Park _ Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 12 noon - 1 pm - Veterans Day Memorial Event.A procession and flag raising ceremony with remarks. Color guard units from SUNY Maritime College will participate. Organized by the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance and Community Board 8 in collaboration with the NYC Parks Department. It's to be held in Memorial Grove which is just north of the southwest corner of the park.   • Sunday & Monday, October 10 & 11, 2021 - 11 am - 5 pm on Sunday & 2 pm - 4 pm on Monday - Indigenous People's Celebration - On Randall's Island at Ward's Field. St fairs & festivals on Randall's Island.
  • THE SECOND FESTIVAL WAS HELD VIRTUALLY IN APRIL 2021 _ Saturday & Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2018 from 12 noon - 6 pm and until 4 pm Sunday - 1st Annual New York Pizza Festival - At Crescent Avenue and Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. There will be about 34 of the top pizza-makers from the NYC metro area demonstrating their skills. Prices are $25 for three slices and $35 for six: and $20 for three drinks and $30 for five - tickets at www.nycpizzafestival.com. Bronx street fairs in the Belmont neighborhood & Fordham neighborhood.

  • Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 8 am - 5 pm. Fall Foliage Bike Ride. Meet at 238th Street #1 subway stop at Van Cortlandt Park. Family-friendly guided bike ride through about twenty-two miles north of the Bronx. Taking the train at Brewster back. Bring at least $25 for train.

  • Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 12 noon - 8 pm - Bronx Harvest Festival at Night Market - In Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road (189th Street) and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food and beverage market with 35 food vendors in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.
