Bronx Street Fairs begin in April. We've compiled one of THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE SCHEDULE of BRONX street fairs including street fair TIMES & PHOTOS & maps, some street fair names & sponsors, and street fair maps to help you find your way around during the spring, summer and fall of 2023.

The Bronx street fair dates that have been updated with 2023 designations reflect the current St Fair events.

ASTERISKED street fairs of 2023 have NOT been UPDATED. The street fairs with prior year dates reflect the information regarding that fair in a prior year.

UNCONFIRMEDS. The 'UNCONFIRMEDS' represent street fairs held in a prior year, which we believe are returning, but which we have not yet confirmed details for 2023.

  • bronx street fairs bronx st fairs festivals bronxTHROGGS NECK - Sunday, March 12, 2023 beginning at 12 noon, the Throgs Neck St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at East Tremont Avenue and Lafayette, marches south on East Tremont to Harding Avenue where it turns west and ends at Harding and Brinsmade Avenues in Throgs Neck in the Bronx. Usually there's a St. Patrick's Day mass at St. Benedicts at 2969 Otis Avenue prior to the parade. For details see - www.tnsaintpatricksdayparade.blogspot.com.   • WESTCHESTER - Sunday, March 12, 2023 beginning at 3 pm, the Eastchester St. Patrick's Day parade in the Bronx kicks off at the Immaculate Conception School on Main Street. It marches north on Route 22 - ICS to White Plains Road and ends at Lake Isle Country Club. Street fairs in and around Westchester County.
  • YONKERS - Saturday, March 18, 2023 beginning at 1 pm, the 66th Annual Yonkers St. Patrick's parade in Yonkers near the Bronx kicks off on McLean Avenue beginning at Bronx River Road and ending at Coyne Park. Street fairs in and around Yonkers.
  • Thursday, March 30, 2023 beginning at 1.05 pm - Yankee Home Opener vs the San Francisco Giants at Yankee Stadium in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx.

  • FORDHAM _ Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1 - 7 pm - Bronx Night Market - in Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food market versus a street fair in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx. Also on the following dates in 2023 - 5/27, 6/24, 7/29, 8/26, 9/30,10/28.

  • April / May / June / July / Aug / Sept / October 2023 - Piazza di Belmont was discontinued - But they are doing outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue. Piazza di Belmont was a pandemic response wherein a few streets were closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue on weekends from 6pm - 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1 pm - 9 pm on Sundays. It ended Oct 31, 2022 and will not be returning, but outdoor dining will.
  • NYC ALL 5 BOROS - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, May 5, 6 & 7, 2023 - Janes Walk - Various art, culture, history and architectural tours throughout all five boros of NYC. Organized by the Municipal Art Society. Not a street fair so much as a streets tour. See https://www.mas.org/events/ for details.
  • NYC ALL 5 BOROS - Sunday, May 7, 2023 first wave beginning at 7.30 am & officially over at 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Ride. It starts between Canal Street and the Battery in Manhattan, depending on the cyclist wave folks are in. It rolls through the Bronx fairly early on, and it ends at Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. Not a street fair but rather a major cycling event. For details see - https://www.bike.nyc
  • BORO WIDE _ Monday, May 8 - Sunday May 21, 2023 - Bronx Week - Multiple events at various locations in the Bronx. For details see - https://bronxboropres.nyc.gov/
  • On Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11 am - 7 pm there's a Vegan Street Fair in Rev T. Wendell Foster Park at 1055 Jerome Avenue in the Bronx. Tickets cost $4 per bite or $55 for the vegan food festival. Rides are separate at $8 / ride. For details see - https://www.veganstreetfair.com.
  • On Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 4 - 5 pm the Bronx Fashion Week will be at the Bay Plaza Mall at 200 Baychester Avenue in the Bronx. Models will be walking the runway. Admission ranges from $0 for standing room and $45 for VIP seating. For details and tickets see - https://www.bronxfashionweek.com.
  • DISCONTINUED BUT THEY NOW HAVE OUTDOOR SPACE * BELMONT - May 2022 EVERY weekend from 6pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1pm to 9pm on Sundays - Piazza di Belmont - Outdoor dining on Arthur Avenue which will be closed to vehicular traffic from East 188th Street to Crescent Avenue during the above mentioned times.

  • Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 11 am - 6 pm. Annual 152nd Street Cultural Festival / which is the Official National Puerto Rican Day Parade Street Festival - Along 152nd Street between [Prospect & Westchester Ave] Jackson & Tinton in the Longwood / Melrose neighborhoods of the Bronx. It's one of the largest Puerto Rican street festivals in NYC. The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is held a week later in Manhattan.
  • Saturday, May 27, 2023 - Orchard Beach Opens for the Summer.
  • Saturday, May 27, 2023 - from 1 - 7 pm - Bronx Night Market - in Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food market versus a street fair in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.

At the corner of Crescent and Arthur Avenues in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The event include Albanian culture, food, entertainment and games. By the Albanian American Open Hand Assn.

Bronx Street Fairs NYC - June 2023

  • * June 4 & 5, 2022 - City Island Art Fair - Along City Island Avenue by the Chamber of Commerce.
  • * Wednesday - Sunday, June 8 - 12, 2022 from 6 pm to 11 pm - The Feast of St. Anthony. Times are Wed, Thurs and Friday from 5 - 9 pm / Saturday & Sunday from 12 noon - 7 pm. It's the annual Feast of St Anthony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 627 East 187th Street. The triangle of streets along Cresent and Arthur Avenues & 187th Street in the Little Italy section of the Belmont neighborhood in the Bronx will be celebrating this Belmont neighborhood st fair with rides, games, raffles, food and entertainment every night. Officially the street fair is being held along East 187th street from Arthur to Beaumont Avenue, and along Crescent from Cambreleng to Belmont Avenue. Historically there had been a procession on Sunday beginning at 5 pm, but this year [2022] I don't see any notice of that.x
  • * SB _ Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11 am - 4 pm. Annual Hunts Point Fish Parade & Festival. Begins at Hunts Point Riverside Park [just across the Bronx River from Soundview Park] at Lafayette Avenue and Edgewater Road with pre-parade registration & activities beginning at 11 am [free]. It's possible most or all of the activities will remain centered around Hunts Point Riverside Park.
    • *** The previous info above has been CONFIRMED. WHAT FOLLOWS IS HISTORICAL PRECEDENT. In the past, the Fish Parade marches through Hunts Point beginning at 12 noon and ends at Barretto Point Park at Tiffany and Viele Avenue around 1 pm where games, music, food and raffles are available throughout the festival which ends at 4 pm.   • * WEST FARMS _ Friday, June 17, 2022 & Saturday June 25, 2022 from 7 - 8.15 pm and on Saturday, June 18th from 1 - 8.15 pm - The 19th Annual Bronx River Sounds Performing Arts Festival at at the Bronx River Art Center at 1087 East Tremont in the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx.   • * FORDHAM _ Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 1 - 8 pm - Bronx Night Market - in Fordham Plaza at East Fordham Road and Third Avenue across from the Metro North Railway Station. This is mostly a food market versus a street fair in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • * THIS WAS CANCELLED IN 2021 & DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING THIS YEAR 2022 _ N&WB _ Saturday & Sunday, June 8 & 9, 2019 from 12 noon - 6 pm. Riverdale Riverfest - At College of Mt Saint Vincent at 6301 Riverdale Avenue in Riverdale. This is a Hudson waterfront Hudson River festival that includes live music, re-enactment of a medieval battle and boat rides on a schooner and whaler. Street fairs in the Riverdale neighborhood of the North & West Bronx. Organized by the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt [KRVC] Development Corp.x
  • * DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING THIS YEAR 2022 _ NOTE OLD DATES _ EB _ Wednesday - Sunday, June 12 - 16, 2019 - St. Helenas Parish Carnival beginning at 1 pm - At St. Helenas Church at 1315 Olmsted Avenue at Westchester Avenue. In 2017 they had a parade that marched down to Owen Dolan Park at 2551 Westchester Square where they held the fair from 2 pm to 6 pm. This year the carnival will be held in the parish parking lot. There will be games, contests, prizes and entertainment. Street fairs in Westchester Square neighborhood of the Bronx.

FYI - This is a bar promotional event, which I posted only because I couldn't find any major general public events celebratiing Cinco de Mayo in the Bronx, which I found surprising.
  • [TIME UNCONFIRMED / AWAITING LOCATION INFO] Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10 am - 4 pm - Bronx Health Fair. There's a Health Fair which is part of the Bronx Week programming by the Bronx Borough President. I am awaiting location information and the time noted above is just an estimate.   • Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10 am - 6 pm - Stadium Street Fair - Along River Avenue from 158th to 161st Street in the South Bronx NYC. Street fairs in the Concourse neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 12 - 5 pm - Bronx Dreamfest. There's an Bronx Arts Festival being held in celebration of Bronx Week at the Andrew Freedman Home at 1125 Grand Concourse only blocks away from the Bronx Museum. It will include performances and vendors in the large yard outside the hom. Free.

  • Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 11.30 am - 6 pm. Bronx Week Parade & Fair. The parade begins at 11.30 am at Fordham Plaza and marches 2 miles north [I believe along Webster Avenue], ending at the Bronx Week Fair on Mosholu Parkway & Bainbridge. The Bronx Week Fair begins at 12 noon [ends around 6 pm] along Mosholu Parkway between Bainbridge and Van Cortlandt Avenue East. It will include food, music and entertainment. Parades and street fairs in Fordham, st fairs in Norwood, street fairs near Bedford Park in the Bronx.
  • Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 11 am to 9 pm - Cinco de Mayo Celebration - At 2069 Bruckner Blvd in Unionport. There will be a half dozen or more musical groups - $20 admission. 646.406.6587.

  • Thursday - Sunday, April 11 - 14, 2019 from 10 am - 5 pm [except opening night begins at 6 pm] - Garden Furniture & Antiques Fair - At the New York Botanical Gardens at 2900 Southern Blvd in the Belmont neighborhood of the Central Bronx NYC. St fairs in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. - VIRTUAL IN 2021 / NIXED IN 2022.
  • Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 5 - 11 pm - Hip Hop Film Festival - At NBT at 2037 5th Avenue in the EAST HARLEM neighborhood of Manhattan. The festival begins at 5 pm when there's an actors' den where producers, directors and actors prep for readings, the readings run from 8 - 10 pm, and conversation and bar until 11 pm. Tickets are $25.
  • Saturday, April 13, 2019  from 10 am - 1 pm there's an Easter Egg Hunt at the Bartow Pell Mansion at 895 Shore Road in Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx.  $15 per child.

This event includes live music and dance entertainment, food and shopping.   • UPDATE - The outdoor dining adds a certain je ne sais quoi to Bronx Little Italy. Even more worth checking out today than other times.
  • DISCONTINUED _ CB / N&W B Fridays, July 13 & July 27, 2018 - doors open 5 pm - Concert begins 7 pm - Musical concert at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. FYI - I couldn't find anything about the Big Backyard BBQ & Music Festival, so it may not be returning. Street fairs in the Riverdale neighborhood of the North and West Bronx.

  • CB Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 11 am to 6 / 7 pm / Free - Bronx 10th Annual LGBTQ Pride Festival & Health Fair - At the Crotona Park Amphitheatre in Crotona Park at 1700 Crotona Avenue at 559 Claremont Parkway. Live entertainment and booths. Street fairs near Mt Eden in the Mount Hope neighborhood of the Central Bronx & Montefiore one of organizers.x FREE.
  • Sunday, July 18, 2021 [guessing the time] from 12 noon - 8 pm - Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast Day - A block party on Belmont Avenue at East 187th Street in the Belmont neighborhood of the Bronx. The affair will include food, entertainment and games.

 

IV. Fourth July Weekend Street Fairs Bronx NYC _ July 19 - 25, 2021

  • Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10 am - 6 pm - Castle Hill Avenue Summer Fair - Along Castle Hill Avenue between Starling and Westchester Avenues in the Parkchester and Westchester Square neighborhoods of the Bronx.
  • Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12 - 5 pm - There's a Bronx Doc Film Block Party at 614 Courtlandt Street at 151st Street in the Melrose neighborhood of the Bronx.
  • Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12 noon - 4 pm. Bronx Dominican Parade - I believe it begins at 12 noon along Grand Concourse from East Tremont Avenue south to East 167th Street. There's a festival street fair that generally follows the parade and lasts well into the evening. Street fairs in the Bronx neighborhood of Concourse.

JULY - South Bronx Street Fairs nyc

  • LIKELY PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED 2023 _ NOT RETURNING IN 2021 _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday, July 26 - 28, 2019 - Panorama Music Festival on Randall's Island - There's a series of modern music concerts entitled Panorama Music Festival running all weekend long on Randall's Island. There are three stages which will feature literally dozens of highly regarded bands and musical artists over the weekend. Generally the times run from about noon until about 10 pm [music - $125 rsvp www.panorama.nyc].
  • THE PARADE IS 7/30/23 _ DID NOT RETURN IN 2019, 2020 NOR 2021 _ Friday, Saturday & Sunday July 20 - 22 and July 27 - 29, 2018 from 12 noon - 6 pm - The Festival Popular Duartiano - Along Clay Avenue between Claremont Parkway East and East 173rd Street in the South Bronx. This Bronx street fair is also the place where folks will go following the Dominican Independence Parade on Sunday, July 29. Bronx street fairs in Claremont Village.
  • NONE IN 2021 _ Sunday, July 23, 2017 - LAST YEAR NONE IN JULY, THIS YEAR 2018 ONLY ONE IN AUG - from 12 noon to 4 pm - Boogie on the Blvd - Along Grand Concourse from 162nd to 170th Streets. Bronx street fairs organized by the Bronx Museum.

  • Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 7.30 am - 6 pm - 5 Boro Bike Tour - In four staggered waves of riders [last one at 9.20 am] beginning in Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan and ending at 6 pm near the Staten Island Ferry terminal, after winding through 40 miles in all five boroughs. Proceeds go to Bike New York and you may obtain details at www.bike.nyc.
  • August 18 - September 30, 2021 - Cow Parade - At various sites in all five boroughs. The cows will be auctioned September 1 - 30, 2021. Hours and locations vary.   • 2023 PERMANENTLY DISCONTINUED? _ DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE RETURNING 2021 _ NOTE YEAR _ Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 11 am - 6 pm. Central American Independence Parade. The parade begins at 12 noon at East Tremont Avenue & Southern Blvd, which is the site of the Happy Land Fire Memorial where in 1990 about 100 people lost their lives - mostly Honduran Garifuna celebrating carnival. This parade and festival celebrates Honduran Garifuna including via stage performances, culture, food, drink, arts and crafts for the whole family. The parade winds its way down Boston Road, then Charlotte Street to Crotona Park East - ending between Crotona Avenue and Claremont Parkway where it enters Crotona Park. Street fairs in the Bronx neighborhood of West Farms.
